رکا ہوں کس کے وہم میں مرے گمان میں نہیں

چراغ جل رہا ہے اور کوئی مکان میں نہیں

وہ طائر نگاہ بھی سفر میں ساتھ ہے مرے

کہ جس کا ذکر تک ابھی کسی اڑان میں نہیں

مری طلب مرے لیے ملال چھوڑ کر گئی

جو شے مجھے پسند ہے وہی دکان میں نہیں

کوئی عجیب خواب تھا اگر میں یاد کر سکوں

کوئی عجیب بات تھی مگر وہ دھیان میں نہیں

وہ دشمنی کی شان سے ملے تو دل میں رہ گئے

مگر یہ بات دوستی کی آن بان میں نہیں

میں رزق خواب ہو کے بھی اسی خیال میں رہا

وہ کون ہے جو زندگی کے امتحان میں نہیں

وہ خواب شام ہجر میں سحر کی آس تھا مجھے

مگر وہ تیرے وصل کی کھلی امان میں نہیں
