بات بڑھتی گئی آگے مری نادانی سے

کتنا ارزاں ہوا میں اپنی فراوانی سے

خاک ہی خاک نظر آئی مجھے چاروں طرف

جل گئے چاند ستارے مری تابانی سے

بے تحاشہ جیے ہم لوگ ہمیں ہوش نہیں

وقت آرام سے گزرا کہ پریشانی سے

اب مرے گرد ٹھہرتی نہیں دیوار کوئی

بندشیں ہار گئیں بے سر و سامانی سے

آئے گا ایسا بھی اک موڑ سفر میں راہیؔ

گرد بھی میری نہ پاؤ گے تم آسانی سے
