دبی ہے جیسے خاکستر میں چنگاری سی کوئی

تڑپتا تلملاتا رہتا ہوں دریا کی مانند

پڑی ہے ضرب احساسات پر کاری سی کوئی

نہ جانے قید میں ہوں یا حفاظت میں کسی کی

کھنچی ہے ہر طرف اک چار دیواری سی کوئی

کسی بھی موڑ سے میرا گزر مشکل نہیں ہے

مرے پیروں تلے رہتی ہے ہمواری سی کوئی

گماں ہونے لگا جب سے مجھے قد آوری کا

چلا کرتی ہے میرے پاؤں پر آری سی کوئی

کسی محفل کسی تنہائی میں رکنا ہے مشکل

مجھے کھینچے لیے جاتی ہے بے زاری سی کوئی
