وقت میں پڑ گیا ہے بل شاید

لب پہ آئی مری غزل شاید

وہ اکیلے ہیں آج کل شاید

دل اگر ہے تو درد بھی ہوگا

جانتے ہیں ثواب رحم و کرم

ان سے ہوتا نہیں عمل شاید

آ رہی ہے جو چاپ قدموں کی

کھل رہے ہیں کہیں کنول شاید

راکھ کو بھی کرید کر دیکھو

ابھی جلتا ہو کوئی پل شاید

چاند ڈوبے تو چاند ہی نکلے
