بے تعلق زندگی اچھی نہیں

زندگی کیا موت بھی اچھی نہیں

آج بھی پایا ہے ان کو بد مزاج

صورت حالات ابھی اچھی نہیں

حسرت دل دیکھ آنکھوں میں نہ بیٹھ

اس قدر بے پردگی اچھی نہیں

میں نہ کہتا تھا دل خانۂ خراب

دلبروں سے دل لگی اچھی نہیں

سیر کیجے حسن کے بازار کی

ہاں مگر آوارگی اچھی نہیں

دل لگاؤ تو لگاؤ دل سے دل

دل لگی ہی دل لگی اچھی نہیں

یہ ہوا یہ ابر یہ سبزہ حفیظؔ

آج پینے میں کمی اچھی نہیں
