حیران نہ ہو دیکھ میں کیا دیکھ رہا ہوں

بندے تری صورت میں خدا دیکھ رہا ہوں

وہ اپنی جفاؤں کا اثر دیکھ رہے ہیں

میں معنیٔ تسلیم و رضا دیکھ رہا ہوں

دزدیدہ نگاہوں سے کدھر دیکھ رہے ہو

کیا بات ہے! یہ آج میں کیا دیکھ رہا ہوں

ہے حسن یہی شے تو گماں اور نہ کیجے

سودا نہیں مطلوب ذرا دیکھ رہا ہوں

کس طرح نہ قائل ہوں دعائے سحری کا

اس لب پہ تبسم کی ضیا دیکھ رہا ہوں

کیوں ارض وطن تنگ ہے یہ بات ہی کیا ہے

اب تو فقط اک قبر کی جا دیکھ رہا ہوں

مر جانے کی دھمکی ہوئی تمہید تماشا

میں نے کہا دیکھ اس نے کہا دیکھ رہا ہوں
