زلف انجام کی الجھن میں پھنسا رکھا ہے

اٹھ کے بالیں سے مرے دفن کی تدبیر کرو

نبض کیا دیکھتے ہو نبض میں کیا رکھا ہے

میری قسمت کے نوشتے کو مٹا دے کوئی

مجھ کو قسمت کے نوشتے نے مٹا رکھا ہے

آپ بیتاب نمائش نہ کریں جلووں کو

ہم نے دیدار قیامت پہ اٹھا رکھا ہے

وہ نہ آئے نہ سہی موت تو آئے گی حفیظؔ

صبر کر صبر ترا کام ہوا رکھا ہے
