عشق میں بھول گیا کچھ نہ رہا یاد مجھے

کیا میں دیوانہ ہوں یارب کہ سر راہ گزر

دور سے گھورنے لگتے ہیں پری زاد مجھے

اب ہے آواز کی وہ شان نہ بازو کی اڑان

اور صیاد کیے دیتا ہے آزاد مجھے

داد خواہی کے لیے اور تو ساماں نہ ملا

نالہ و آہ پہ رکھنی پڑی بنیاد مجھے

میرے شعروں پہ وہ شرمائے تو احباب ہنسے

اے حفیظؔ آج غزل کی یہ ملی داد مجھے
