مگر حفیظؔ کو یہ بات کون سمجھائے

وفا کا جوش تو کرتا چلا گیا مدہوش

قدم قدم پہ مجھے دوست ہوش میں لائے

پری رخوں کی زباں سے کلام سن کے مرا

بہت سے لوگ مری شکل دیکھنے آئے

بہشت میں بھی ملا ہے مجھے عذاب شدید

یہاں بھی مولوی صاحب ہیں میرے ہمسائے

عذاب قبر سے بد تر سہی حیات حفیظؔ

یہ جبر ہے تو بجز صبر کیا کیا جائے
