آنکھ کی راہ سے بجھتے ہوئے لمحے اترے

اقربا جتنے تھے کشتی کے وہ سارے اترے

اس سے کہتے ہو کہ پھر لوٹنا ہوگا چھت پر

سانس کی لے کو جو تھامے ہوئے زینے اترے

چھا گئی بچوں کے چہرے پہ نئی ہریالی

آج پھر پیڑوں سے آنگن میں پرندے اترے

لوگ ساحل پہ تماشائی بنے بیٹھے رہے

بیچ دریا میں فقط ہم ہی اکیلے اترے

چیخ نکلی نہ کوئی آہ و فغاں کی میں نے

یوں تو سینے میں کئی تیر نکیلے اترے
