سوکھے ہوئے درخت کے پتوں کو دیکھنا

پھر چہرۂ حیات کے زخموں کو دیکھنا

خوش رنگئ حیات کا پاؤ گے عکس تم

پتھر اچھال کر ذرا لہروں کو دیکھنا

میری نظر میں یہ بھی عبادت خدا کی ہے

شفقت بھری نگاہ سے بچوں کو دیکھنا

اس واسطے میں پاس ہی رکھتا ہوں آئنہ

مشکل ہے اپنی آنکھ سے جذبوں کو دیکھنا

تخریب کائنات کی زندہ مثال ہے

ساحل پہ انتشار کے زخموں کو دیکھنا

جکڑیں گے ایک دن وہی رشتوں کے جال میں

ہو جائے دھند صاف تو اپنوں کو دیکھنا
