کبھی کبھار

دو جسموں کے درمیان

چند شکنوں کا فاصلہ

صدیوں پر پھیل جاتا ہے

اس لمحے کے پیکار میں

باہم پیوست دو جسموں سے

پیدا ہونے والا

تیسرا بدن

ساری عمر

فراق کی گھڑیاں گنتے گنتے

آخر اسی زنجیرے میں

ایک نئی کڑی کا اضافہ بن جاتا ہے

اور پھر وہی عمل

پھر وہی زنجیرہ

پھر وہی کڑی!
