چھاجوں برستی بارش کے بعد

رفاقت کے نشے میں جھومتے

دو سبز پتوں نے

بہت آہستہ سے تالی بجائی

اور کہا

دیکھو'' حسن عباس!

اتنی خوبصورت رت میں

کوئی اس طرح تنہا بھی ہوتا ہے

جو تم اس طور تنہا ہو''!؟

یہ کہہ کر دونوں اک دوجے سے یوں لپٹے

کہ جیسے ایک دن تو مجھ سے لپٹی تھی

اسی لمحے

مرے ہونٹوں پہ تیرا شہد آگیں

لمس جاگ اٹھا

اور اس گم گشتہ نشے کو میں ہونٹوں پر سجائے

اپنے کمرے میں چلا آیا

کہ دفتر کا بہت سا کام باقی تھا
