اُس کے ہونٹوں پہ ہنسی آنکھ میں آنسو آئے

اب یہ منشائے خدا ہے یا شرارت تیری

ہم اِدھر تجھ کو بھلاتے ہیں اُدھر تُو آئے

مجھ پہ پڑتی ہوئی سورج کی تپش بھی اُس کی

جب چلے ٹھنڈی ہوا یاد وہ گیسُو آئے

بُت تھا وہ یا کہ صنم ، کوئی خدا تو وہ نہ تھا

کیا ہُوا ہم بھی ذرا سا جو اُسے چُھوآئے
