تجھے تو آج بھی ہم بے شمار چاہتے ہیں
اک اور طرح کا لیکن قرار چاہتے ہیں
ہمارا مسئلہ یہ ہے کہ شام ہوتے ہی
ہم اپنے آپ سے تھوڑا فرار چاہتے ہیں
پلٹنے والے تجھے پہلے ہی بتایا تھا
کسی بھی شخص کو ہم ایک بار چاہتے ہیں
یہ لوگ کیوں بھلا تھکتے دکھائی دیتے نہیں
اب اور کتنا ترا انتظار چاہتے ہیں
ہمارے تجربے اتنے زیادہ ٹھیک نہیں
سو تجھ سے پیار نہیں اعتبار چاہتے ہیں
خدا ہوس سے بچائے مگر کئی دن سے
ترے بدن پہ بھی ہم اختیار چاہتے ہیں

ab aur kitna tera intizar chahte hain
hamare tajarbe itne ziyaada Thik nahin
so tujh se pyar nahin e'tibar chahte hain
KHuda hawas se bachae magar kai din se
tere badan pe bhi hum iKHtiyar chahte hain
