حیات رضوی امروہوی
کارزار زندگی میں ایسے لمحے آ گئے
عزم محکم رکھنے والے وقت سے گھبرا گئے
دوسروں کے واسطے جیتے رہے مرتے رہے
خوب سیرت لوگ تھے راز محبت پا گئے
باغ پر بجلی گرے یا نذر گلچیں ہو رہے
آہ اب سوچوں کے دھارے اس نہج پر آ گئے
اس جھلستی دھوپ نے آخر کہاں پہنچا دیا
چھاؤں کی خاطر پس دیوار زنداں آ گئے
وائے محرومی کہ بس ہم آسماں تکتے رہے
یوں تو بادل گھر کے آئے حسرتیں برسا گئے
دل کی شادابی کی خاطر دل کی تسکیں کے لئے
رضویؔ مضطر کبھی مکہ کبھی متھرا گئے

dusron ke waste jite rahe marte rahe
KHub-sirat log the raaz-e-mohabbat pa gae
bagh par bijli gire ya nazr-e-gulchin ho rahe
aah ab sochon ke dhaare is nahaj par aa gae
is jhulasti dhup ne aaKHir kahan pahuncha diya
chhanw ki KHatir pas-e-diwar-e-zindan aa gae
wae mahrumi ki bas hum aasman takte rahe
yun to baadal ghir ke aae hasraten barsa gae
dil ki shadabi ki KHatir dil ki taskin ke liye
'rizwi'-e-muztar kabhi makka kabhi mathura gae
