ہجر کی شب جو طبیعت کبھی گھبرائی ہے

ہجر کی شب جو طبیعت کبھی گھبرائی ہے
تو نہ آیا تو تیری یاد بہت آئی ہے
پر خطر کتنی یہ ماحول کی تنہائی ہے
دل سے اک بات نہ نکلی تھی کہ اک آئی ہے
دست الفت دل بے کل کی طرف یوں لائے
کوئی سمجھے یہ ترا ناز ہے انگڑائی ہے
حادثے ہیں ابھی کتنے اسی خطرے کے تحت
اس میں رسوائی ہے اس میں تری رسوائی ہے
وہ ترے سر کی قسم کھاتے ہیں یعنی کہ خلیلؔ
ایک کافر نے مسلماں کی قسم کھائی ہے

dil se ek baat na nikli thi ki ek aai hai
dast-e-ulfat dil-e-be-kal ki taraf yun lae
koi samjhe ye tera naz hai angDai hai
hadse hain abhi kitne isi KHatre ke tahat
is mein ruswai hai is mein teri ruswai hai
wo tere sar ki qasam khate hain yani ki 'KHalil'
ek kafir ne musalman ki qasam khai hai
