یونہی آتی نہیں ہوا مجھ میں

ابھی روشن ہے اک دیا مجھ میں

وہ مجھے دیکھ کر خموش رہا

اور اک شور مچ گیا مجھ میں

دونوں آدم کے منتقم بیٹے

اور ہوا ان کا سامنا مجھ میں

میں مدینے کو لوٹ آیا ہوں

یعنی جاری ہے کربلا مجھ میں

روشنی آنے والے خواب کی ہے

دن تو کب کا گزر چکا مجھ میں

اس اندھیرے میں جب کوئی بھی نہ تھا

مجھ سے گم ہو گیا خدا مجھ میں
