یہ چار دن کی خدائی تو کوئی بات نہیں
جو مانگنا ہے تجھے صرف ایک در سے مانگ
یہ در بدر کی گدائی تو کوئی بات نہیں
اگرچہ خواہش منزل جنوں کے ناخن لے
خرد کی عقدہ کشائی تو کوئی بات نہیں
مزہ تو جب ہے بجھے تشنگیٔ خار الم
جنون آبلہ پائی تو کوئی بات نہیں
خود اپنے دل کو بنا لے تو آستان وفا
حرم کی ناصیہ سائی تو کوئی بات نہیں
نکل گئی تھی مرے منہ سے دل کی بات جو کل
ہوئی ہے آج پرائی تو کوئی بات نہیں
مے سخن سے نہ پگھلے جو آبگینۂ دل
تو فخرؔ شعلہ نوائی تو کوئی بات نہیں
