تھیں اک سکوت سے ظاہر محبتیں اپنی
اب آنسوؤں نے بھی بخشیں عنایتیں اپنی
کہ برگ ہائے خزاں دیدہ جوں اڑائے ہوئے
کشاں کشاں لیے پھرتی ہیں وحشتیں اپنی
سبھی کو شک ہے کہ خود ہم میں بے وفائی ہے
کہاں کہاں نہ ہوئی ہیں شکایتیں اپنی
چلے جہاں سے تھے اب آؤ لوٹ جائیں وہیں
نکالیں راہوں نے ہم سے عداوتیں اپنی
کچھ اور کر دے گی بوجھل فضا کو خاموشی
چلو کہ شور مچائیں شرارتیں اپنی
ہمارا جو بھی تعلق تھا اس کے دم سے تھا
لو آج ختم ہوئیں سب رقابتیں اپنی
