تھوڑی چاندی تھوڑا گارا لگتا ہے

تب جا کر آئینہ پیارا لگتا ہے

فرصت کے لمحات کمانے کی خاطر

اچھا خاصا وقت ہمارا لگتا ہے

میں دریا کے وحشی پن سے واقف ہوں

میرے گھر کے ساتھ کنارا لگتا ہے

ان سے ہی سنگھار کی چیزیں بنتی ہیں

جن پیڑوں کے جسم پہ آرا لگتا ہے

ہم دونوں نے رات گزاری آنکھوں میں

آئینہ بھی ہجر کا مارا لگتا ہے
