عمران علی خاں عمران

کوئی پرواہ نہیں ہے کہ وہ سر کاٹیں گے

ہم محبت سے ہی نفرت کا اثر کاٹیں گے

عزم فرہاد نے اوزار سے کاٹا تھا پہاڑ

ہم رگ گل سے بھی پتھر کا جگر کاٹیں گے

لوگ احسان کو احسان سمجھتے کب ہیں

جس کے سائے میں پلیں گے وہ شجر کاٹیں گے

پھر ترے آنے کی امید صبح جاگے گی

پھر تری یاد میں ہم آٹھ پہر کاٹیں گے

آپ نے اڑنا کبھی جس کو سکھایا عمرانؔ

لکھ رکھیں یہ کہ وہی آپ کے پر کاٹیں گے

hum mohabbat se hi nafrat ka asar kaTenge

azm-e-farhad ne auzar se kaTa tha pahaD
hum rag-e-gul se bhi patthar ka jigar kaTenge

log ehsan ko ehsan samajhte kab hain
jis ke sae mein palenge wo shajar kaTenge

phir tere aane ki ummid-e-subh jagegi
