تم نہیں ہو تو نظارے نہیں اچھے لگتے
گہرے پانی میں ذرا آؤ اتر کر دیکھیں
ہم کو دریا کے کنارے نہیں اچھے لگتے
روز اخبار کی جلتی ہوئی سرخی پڑھ کر
شہر کے لوگ تمہارے نہیں اچھے لگتے
درد میں ڈوبی فضا آج بہت ہے شاید
غم زدہ رات ہے تارے نہیں اچھے لگتے
میری تنہائی سے کہہ دو کہ سہارا چھوڑے
زندگی بھر یہ سہارے نہیں اچھے لگتے
