شعلۂ عشق بجھانا بھی نہیں چاہتا ہے

وہ مگر خود کو جلانا بھی نہیں چاہتا ہے

اس کو منظور نہیں ہے مری گمراہی بھی

اور مجھے راہ پہ لانا بھی نہیں چاہتا ہے

جب سے جانا ہے کہ میں جان سمجھتا ہوں اسے

وہ ہرن چھوڑ کے جانا بھی نہیں چاہتا ہے

سیر بھی جسم کے صحرا کی خوش آتی ہے مگر

دیر تک خاک اڑانا بھی نہیں چاہتا ہے

کیسے اس شخص سے تعبیر پہ اصرار کریں

جو ہمیں خواب دکھانا بھی نہیں چاہتا ہے

اپنے کس کام میں لائے گا بتاتا بھی نہیں

ہم کو اوروں پہ گنوانا بھی نہیں چاہتا ہے

میرے لفظوں میں بھی چھپتا نہیں پیکر اس کا

دل مگر نام بتانا بھی نہیں چاہتا ہے
