یہ کیا ستم ہے کہ اب تیری آرزو بھی نہیں

مجھے تو آج بھی تجھ پر یقین ہے لیکن

ترے دیار میں انساں کی آبرو بھی نہیں

ابھی تو مے کدہ ویراں دکھائی دیتا ہے

ابھی تو وجد میں پیمانہ و سبو بھی نہیں

تری نگاہ میں چاہت کہاں تلاش کروں

تری سرشت میں شاید وفا کی خو بھی نہیں

بس اک تعلق خاطر کا پاس ہے ورنہ

تو خوبرو سہی پر اتنا خوبرو بھی نہیں

چمک اٹھے نہ ترے رخ پہ داغ رسوائی

یہ چاک وہ ہے کہ شرمندۂ رفو بھی نہیں

یقین جان کہ تیرا وجود ہے مجھ سے

یہ مان لے کہ اگر میں نہیں تو تو بھی نہیں
