ابھی سے آفت جاں ہے ادا ادا تیری

یہ ابتدا ہے تو کیا ہوگی انتہا تیری

مری سمجھ میں یہ قاتل نہ آج تک آیا

کہ قتل کرتی ہے تلوار یا ادا تیری

نقاب لاکھ چھپائے وہ چھپ نہیں سکتی

مری نظر میں جو صورت ہے دل ربا تیری

لہو کی بوند بھی اے تیر یار دل میں نہیں

یہ فکر ہے کہ تواضع کروں میں کیا تیری

سنگھا رہی ہے مجھے غش میں نکہت گیسو

خدا دراز کرے عمر اے صبا تیری

ادا پہ ناز تو ہوتا ہے سب حسینوں کو

فضا کو ناز ہے جس پر وہ ہے ادا تیری

جلیلؔ یار کے در تک گزر نہیں نہ سہی

ہزار شکر کہ ہے اس کے دل میں جا تیری
