حسن کی لائی ہوئی ایک بھی آفت نہ گئی

دل کی دھڑکن نہ گئی درد کی شدت نہ گئی

سایہ تک بھاگ گیا دیکھ کے وحشت گھر کی

کیا بلا ہے کہ الٰہی شب فرقت نہ گئی

حسن دل کش اسے کہتے ہیں کہ ہم ساری عمر

ان کو دیکھا کیے دیدار کی حسرت نہ گئی

اب بھی اس راہ گزر میں ہے جہاں تھی پہلے

سچ تو یہ ہے نہ کہیں آئی قیامت نہ گئی

میں زمانے میں ہوں آئینۂ تصویر جلیلؔ

کہ تصور سے کبھی یار کی صورت نہ گئی
