بکھر گیا ہے جو موتی پرونے والا تھا

وہ ہو رہا ہے یہاں جو نہ ہونے والا تھا

اور اب یہ چاہتا ہوں کوئی غم بٹائے مرا

میں اپنی مٹی کبھی آپ ڈھونے والا تھا

ترے نہ آنے سے دل بھی نہیں دکھا شاید

وگرنہ کیا میں سر شام سونے والا تھا

ملا نہ تھا پہ بچھڑنے کا غم نہ تھا مجھ کو

جلا نہیں تھا مگر راکھ ہونے والا تھا

ہزار طرح کے تھے رنج پچھلے موسم میں

پر اتنا تھا کہ کوئی ساتھ رونے والا تھا
