اس سمے کوئی نہیں میری نگہبانی پر

یہ گھڑی سخت کڑی ہے ترے زندانی پر

با خبر کر کے رہ عشق کی مشکل سے تجھے

فیصلہ چھوڑ دیا ہے تری آسانی پر

نہ ہوا اور نہ مٹی پہ کبھی ہو پایا

جو بھروسا ہے مجھے بہتے ہوئے پانی پر

میں ابھی پہلے خسارے سے نہیں نکلا ہوں

پھر بھی تیار ہے دل دوسری نادانی پر

کسی بھی وقت بدل سکتا ہے لمحہ کوئی

اس قدر خوش بھی نہ ہو میری پریشانی پر

ختم ہونے کو ہیں اشکوں کے ذخیرے بھی جمالؔ

روئے کب تک کوئی اس شہر کی ویرانی پر
