اتنے نڈھال راہ کے قہر و غضب سے تھے

اتنے نڈھال راہ کے قہر و غضب سے تھے
منزل تک آ گئے تھے مگر جاں بہ لب سے تھے
بچھڑا تو اِک جہانِ تعلق اُجڑ گیا
جس جس سے رابطے تھے‘ اُسی کے سبب سے تھے
مجھ جیسا تو کسی کا نہیں حال ہجر میں
گو اُس نظر کے وعدہ و پیمان سب سے تھے
میں نے ہی درگزر سے لیا کام مدتوں
ورنہ ترے بچھڑنے کے امکان کب سے تھے
اپنا قصور یہ تھا کہ اُس شہر میں جمال
زندہ تھے اور خیر سے نام و نسب سے تھے
