کب دل کے آئنے میں وہ منظر نہیں رہا

آنکھوں کے سامنے جو کہ پل بھر نہیں رہا

پیروں تلے زمین نہیں تھی تو جی لئے

لیکن اب آسمان بھی سر پر نہیں رہا

تیرے خیال میں کبھی اس طرح کھو گئے

تیرا خیال بھی ہمیں اکثر نہیں رہا

وہ قحط سنگ ہے سر ساحل کہ الاماں

پانی میں پھینکنے کو بھی پتھر نہیں رہا

آگاہ کیا ہوئے ہیں سرابوں سے ہم جمالؔ

سطح زمیں پہ کوئی سمندر نہیں رہا
