راتیں مبارک ساعتوں والی اور دن برکت والے

میری پونجی کب لوٹائے گا نیلی چھت والے

حد نگاہ تلک پھیلا ہے ان دیکھا آسیب

گوشۂ دل میں جھلمل جھلمل دیپ عبادت والے

چاروں جانب رچی ہوئی ہے اشکوں کی بو باس

اس رستے سے گزرے ہوں گے قافلے ہجرت والے

ایک کلی مہکائے ہوئے تھی پورے باغ کا باغ

اس کی گلی کے سارے لوگ تھے اچھی عادت والے

کبھی یہ آنکھیں خود بھی اڑا کرتی تھیں پتنگ کے ساتھ

دور دریچے سے ہوتے تھے اشارے حیرت والے

پچھلی رات کے قہر سے پہلے کی ہے بات جمال

اپنی جھولی میں تھے چند ستارے قسمت والے
