اس قدر ڈوبا ہوا دل درد کی لذت میں ہے

تیرا عاشق انجمن ہی کیوں نہ ہو خلوت میں ہے

جذب کر لینا تجلی روح کی عادت میں ہے

حسن کو محفوظ رکھنا عشق کی فطرت میں ہے

محو ہو جاتا ہوں اکثر میں کہ دشمن ہوں ترا

دل کشی کس درجہ اے دنیا تری صورت میں ہے

اف نکل جاتی ہے خطرے ہی کا موقعہ کیوں نہ ہو

حسن سے بیتاب ہو جانا مری فطرت میں ہے

اس کا اک ادنیٰ کرشمہ روح وہ اتنا عجیب

عقل استعجاب میں ہے فلسفہ حیرت میں ہے

نور کا تڑکا ہے دھیمی ہو چلی ہے چاندنی

ہل رہا ہے دل مرا مصروف وہ زینت میں ہے
