سنا تو یہ بھی ہے سیرت بھی اک ہمالہ ہے
ہمیں تو آپ کی صورت نے مار ڈالا ہے
تو اپنے ذکرِ قیامت کو چھوڑ دے واعظ
کسی کی آنکھ سے آنسو نکلنے والا ہے
دیارِ عشق میں عاشق کا یہ نہیں شیوہ
میاں یہ پوچھتے کیوں ہو کہ کیوں نکالا ہے
کہاں سے لاؤں گا مطلع میں اِس تناسب کا
یہاں تو آپ کے ہونٹوں کا بول بالا ہے
ابھی تو آپ نے دیکھا نہیں اندھیرے کو
ابھی تو آپ کے چاروں طرف اُجالا ہے
پلٹ کے آؤں گا اپنی زمین پر اخترؔ
کہ ایک ہی تو مرا معتبر حوالہ ہے
