کی ہے کوئی حسین خطا ہر خطا کے ساتھ

تھوڑا سا پیار بھی مجھے دے دو سزا کے ساتھ

گر ڈوبنا ہی اپنا مقدر ہے تو سنو

ڈوبیں گے ہم ضرور مگر ناخدا کے ساتھ

منزل سے وہ بھی دور تھا اور ہم بھی دور تھے

ہم نے بھی دھول اڑائی بہت رہ نما کے ساتھ

رقص صبا کے جشن میں ہم تم بھی ناچتے

اے کاش تم بھی آ گئے ہوتے صبا کے ساتھ

اکیسویں صدی کی طرف ہم چلے تو ہیں

فتنے بھی جاگ اٹھے ہیں آواز پا کے ساتھ

ایسا لگا غریبی کی ریکھا سے ہوں بلند

پوچھا کسی نے حال کچھ ایسی ادا کے ساتھ
