کیفی اعظمی

پتھر کے خدا وہاں بھی پائے

ہم چاند سے آج لوٹ آئے

دیواریں تو ہر طرف کھڑی ہیں

کیا ہو گئے مہربان سائے

جنگل کی ہوائیں آ رہی ہیں

کاغذ کا یہ شہر اڑ نہ جائے

لیلیٰ نے نیا جنم لیا ہے

ہے قیس کوئی جو دل لگائے

ہے آج زمیں کا غسل صحت

جس دل میں ہو جتنا خون لائے

صحرا صحرا لہو کے خیمے

پھر پیاسے لب فرات آئے
