منہ فقیروں سے نہ پھیرا چاہئے

یہ تو پوچھا چاہئے کیا چاہئے

چاہ کا معیار اونچا چاہئے

جو نہ چاہیں ان کو چاہا چاہئے

کون چاہے ہے کسی کو بے غرض

چاہنے والوں سے بھاگا چاہئے

ہم تو کچھ چاہے ہیں تم چاہو ہو کچھ

وقت کیا چاہے ہے دیکھا چاہئے

چاہتے ہیں تیرے ہی دامن کی خیر

ہم ہیں دیوانے ہمیں کیا چاہئے

بے رخی بھی ناز بھی انداز بھی

چاہئے لیکن نہ اتنا چاہئے

ہم جو کہنا چاہتے ہیں کیا کہیں

آپ کہہ لیجے جو کہنا چاہئے

بات چاہے بے سلیقہ ہو کلیمؔ

بات کہنے کا سلیقہ چاہئے
