میرے آوارہ خیالات کی بجلی ہوگی

لے اڑی ہے ترے ہاتھوں کی حنا پچھلے پہر

میرے الجھے ہوئے افکار کی آندھی ہوگی

جتنی مل جائے گی کانٹوں کی چبھن لے لوں گا

جو بھی حالت دل بے تاب کی ہوگی ہوگی

ہم نہ مانیں گے خموشی ہے تمنا کا مزاج

ہاں بھری بزم میں وہ بول نہ پائی ہوگی

میری ناکامئ حالات کے دھارے کے سوا

ایک ندی بھی تو بے آب نہ بہتی ہوگی

ہے رضاؔ آج کا عالم تو اسیر ابہام

یار زندہ ہیں تو کل اور ترقی ہوگی
