منزل کی دھوم دھام سے جب جی اچٹ گیا

رہگیر جیسے سینکڑوں رستوں میں بٹ گیا

افسوس دل تک آنے کی راہیں نہ کھل سکیں

کوئی فقط خیال تک آ کر پلٹ گیا

ہم تول بیٹھے صبح دم انساں کو سائے سے

سورج کے سر پہ آتے ہی سایا سمٹ گیا

کیا جانے کس چٹان سے ٹکرا گیا ہے دل

چلتا ہوا سفینہ اچانک الٹ گیا

اب کوئی ڈھونڈ ڈھانڈ کے لاؤ نیا وجود

انسان تو بلندی انساں سے گھٹ گیا

منزل پہ گرد وہم و گماں تھی وہ دھل گئی

رستے میں عقل و ہوش کا پتھر تھا ہٹ گیا

محفل بھی نور بار ہے ساقی بھی خم بدوش

میرے ہی ناؤ نوش کا معیار گھٹ گیا

منزل کہیں ملی نہ ملی لیکن اے رضاؔ

منزل کے اشتیاق میں رستا تو کٹ گیا
