یہ لمحات نو میرا کیا لے گئے

کچھ آنسو گرے تھے اٹھا لے گئے

ندی نالے قدریں بہا لے گئے

وفا لے گئے مدعا لے گئے

کسے ڈھونڈتے ہو کھڑی ناؤ پر

سبھی فاصلے نا خدا لے گئے

یہ کیسے جھکولے تھے پندار کے

مجھے پنکھ دے کر اڑا لے گئے

چنا رہنما ان کو یہ کیا کیا

کہاں سے کہاں نقش پا لے گئے

گھر آنگن میں سونے کا سورج کہاں

کرن تک پڑوسی چرا لے گئے

لبوں پر کہیں کالی داسؔ اب نہیں

بڑے نام گپتا‌ رضاؔ لے گئے
