رس کی کھیر

ایک روز کی بات ہے بھائی

رس کی ہم نے کھیر پکائی

پہلے رس کا میل نکالا

اور پتیلی میں پھر ڈالا

دیگچی پھر چولھے پہ چڑھائی

اس کے نیچے آگ جلائی

ڈالے رس میں چاول ستھرے

اور چلایا دھیرے دھیرے

کھچ کھچ کر کے پکتی جاتی

ہم سب سے یہ کہتی جاتی

چاول بولو کس نے بنایا

کھیت میں گنا کس نے اگایا

پک کر جب تیار ہوئی تو

تحفہ دیا پڑوسن بی کو

خوش ہو کر ہم سب نے کھائی

کھیر پڑوسن کو بھی بھائی

شکر ہے اس اللہ کا بھائی

جس نے ہم کو کھیر کھلائی

ek roz ki baat hai bhai
ras ki hum ne khir pakai
pahle ras ka mel nikala
aur patili mein phir Dala
degchi phir chulhe pe chaDhai
us ke niche aag jalai
Dale ras mein chawal suthre
aur chalaya dhire dhire
khich khich kar ke pakti jati
hum sab se ye kahti jati
chawal bolo kis ne banaya
khet mein ganna kis ne ugaya
pak kar jab tayyar hui to
tohfa diya paDosan b ko
KHush ho kar hum sab ne khai
khir paDosan ko bhi bhai
shukr hai us allah ka bhai
jis ne hum ko khir khilai
