غریق ذکر خدا دن کو خانقاہ میں تھا
جو شیخ رات کو ڈوبا ہوا گناہ میں تھا
تمام سنگ دلی یا کہ پھر غرور و حشم
کچھ اور اس کے سوا بھی جہاں پناہ میں تھا
حروف مکر ترے لب پہ تھے مگر ظالم
مجھے فریب بھی کھانا وفا کی راہ میں تھا
تمہارے قول و قسم پر فریب کیا کھاتا
تمہارا طرز ادا بھی مری نگاہ میں تھا
ٹپک کے دیدۂ نم سے صدائیں دیتا ہے
جو ایک حرف تمنا دل تباہ میں تھا
مجھے تو راس اے خالدؔ یہی زمیں آئی
یہ اور بات مرا ذکر مہر و ماہ میں تھا
