زخموں کا ایک سلسلہ اچھا نہیں لگا
جراح کو یہ تجربہ اچھا نہیں لگا
اس نے کیا سلام تو اچھا لگا مگر
بس یہ کہ منہ کا زاویہ اچھا نہیں لگا
میرے جنوں کو وصل کی قربت نگل گئی
فرقت سے اتنا فاصلہ اچھا نہیں لگا
تم نے جو متن پیش کیا مستند تو تھا
لیکن تمہارا حاشیہ اچھا نہیں لگا
آئینہ گر کے ہاتھ میں پتھر ہیں کس لئے
شاید'' انہیں بھی آئنہ اچھا نہیں لگا''
دشت جنوں سے آ گئے شہر خرد میں ہم
دل کو مگر یہ سانحہ اچھا نہیں لگا
خالدؔ سنا جو روح کا نغمہ تو پھر کبھی
بلبل کو کوئی زمزمہ اچھا نہیں لگا
