لالہ مادھو رام جوہر

بت کدہ میں نہ تجھے کعبے کے اندر پایا

دونوں عالم سے جدا ہم نے ترا گھر پایا

یوں تو دنیا میں قیامت کے پری رو دیکھے

سب سے بڑھ کر تجھے اے فتنۂ محشر پایا

اپنی اپنی ہے یہ تقدیر سبھی تھے سائل

ایک کو شیشہ ملا ایک نے پتھر پایا

بے خودی نے مجھے دیدار دکھایا تیرا

تجھ کو پایا تو مگر آپ کو کھو کر پایا

چشمۂ فیض ہے کیا ذات مرے ساقی کی

ایک قطرہ کو کہا جس نے سمندر پایا

خوش نصیب آپ بھی دنیا میں ہیں کیا اے جوہرؔ

منتظر یار کو پہلے ہی سے در پر پایا
