ہجر کی منزل ہمیں اب کے پسند آئی نہیں

ہم اکیلے ہیں مگر ہم راہ تنہائی نہیں

ایک دن چھن جائے گا آنکھوں سے سارا رنگ و نور

دیکھ لو ان کو کہ یہ منظر ہمیشائی نہیں

اک جنوں کے واسطے بستی کو وسعت دی گئی

ایک وحشت کے لیے صحرا میں پہنائی نہیں

کون سے منظر کی تابانی اندھیرا کر گئی

ایسا کیا دیکھا کہ اب آنکھوں میں بینائی نہیں

جب کبھی فرصت ملے گی دیکھ لیں گے سارے خواب

خواب بھی اپنے ہیں یہ راتیں بھی ہرجائی نہیں
