خوں گشتہ تمناؤں کی تصویر اتاریں

شاید کوئی روزن کوئی کھڑکی نکل آئے

سر اپنا چلو وقت کی دیوار سے ماریں

کب تک دل دیوانہ یہ بے وجہ تعاقب

اب ہاتھ کہاں آئیں گی رم کردہ بہاریں

برہم ہوئی وہ محفل‌ یاران خوش اوقات

تنہائی کے لمحات کہاں جا کے گزاریں

آنگن کی اداسی کو فزوں کر گئیں مخمورؔ

دیوار پہ بیٹھی ہوئی چڑیوں کی قطاریں
