مرے جرم عشق کی اس قدر مجھے اے ندیم سزا نہ دے
مرے دل پہ اتنی جفا نہ کر مجھے یوں نظر سے گرا نہ دے
یہی ایک گوہر بے بہا مری زندگی کا ہے ماحصل
مجھے ڈر ہے تیری یہ بے رخی غم آرزو کو مٹا نہ دے
ہے خموش آتش زندگی مگر اک شرر ترے عشق کا
مرے دل میں اب بھی چمک رہا ہے اسے بھی یاس بجھا نہ دے
اب اگرچہ قابل اعتبار ہے غیر ہی کی وفا مگر
مری اس وفا کو جو اعتبار سے گر چکی ہے بھلا نہ دے
جو مجھے یقیں ہو کہ میں ہی تیرے حریم غم کا رفیق ہوں
تو بلا سے گر مجھے بزم عیش میں بار تیری عطا نہ دے

meri us wafa ko jo e'tibar se gir chuki hai bhula na de
jo mujhe yaqin ho ki main hi tere harim-e-gham ka rafiq hun
to bala se gar mujhe bazm-e-aish mein bar teri ata na de
