دشمن کے طنز کو بھی سلیقے سے ٹال دے
اپنے مذاق طبع کی ایسی مثال دے
بخشے بہار کو جو نہ شائستگی کا رنگ
ایسی ہر ایک شے کو چمن سے نکال دے
پچھلی رتوں کے داغ تو سب ماند پڑ گئے
اب کے بہار زخم کوئی لا زوال دے
میں بھی تو راہرو ہوں ترا رہ گزار شوق
تھوڑی سی دھول میری طرف بھی اچھال دے
معصومؔ صاف گوئی بڑی چیز ہے مگر
ایسا نہ ہو کہیں یہ مصیبت میں ڈال دے
