بے حسی کی بھیڑ میں وہ کھو گیا

خوف تھا جس کا وہی کل ہو گیا

ہر قدم پر پاؤں کیوں زخمی ہوئے

راہ حق میں کون کانٹے بو گیا

رات بھر تو چاند جاگا میرے ساتھ

پھر سحر کے وقت تھک کر سو گیا

ماں نے بس پانی ابالا رات بھر

روتے روتے اس کا بچہ سو گیا

وہ کہیں کا بھی نہ مظہرؔ ہو سکا

ہاتھ کو مجھ سے چھڑا کر جو گیا

har qadam par panw kyun zaKHmi hue
