کب تک تم اپنی آگ میں جلتے رہو گے

کب تک سونا چراغ جلتا رہے

کبھی تمہارے آنگن میں بھی کوئی اترے

لہو کے چراغ جلائے ہوئے

تمہارے سایوں سے بھی پیار کرے

تم پورے چاند کے ساتھ گاؤ

گھپ اندھیرے میں بھی ناچو

یہ تمنا بھی پوری ہو

اور میں یہ منظر

راکھ کے ڈھیر سے

اور کبھی

پاتال سے دیکھوں
